Ejie (the Basque Government?s IT company) will be participating in LIBRECON, southern Europe's international benchmark event dealing with open source technology applied to strategic sectors of the economy, which will take place in Bilbao's Euskalduna Palace on the 21st and 22nd of November 2018.

Durante los últimos meses la red BAI SAREA, impulsada por Emakunde y compuesta por entidades comprometidas por la igualdad de mujeres y hombres ha estado recopilando las diferentes estrategias de igualdad y cuidados que las empresas de la citada red hemos puesto en marcha durante la pandemia, las cuales han sido trasladadas al boletín adjunto, para ser compartidas y difundidas. En el mismo se recogen y ponen en valor algunas de las estrategias llevadas a cabo en EJIE en este sentido.

In celebration of November 25, "International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women", EJIE expresses its firm rejection of all expressions of sexist violence as well as its commitment to building an egalitarian society free of violence against women.

It is a pioneering experience that will bring together people from several generations through the teaching and learning of the WhatsApp instant messaging application. 72 young people from 6 secondary schools in Vitoria-Gasteiz are already being trained to lead the workshops for adults who have enrolled on the initiative.

This award, promoted by the University of Deusto's Faculty of Engineering, seeks to encourage and promote women's vocations in the field of research and technological development.

On the 16th of May, Alex Etxeberria, the CEO of EJIE (the Basque Government's IT Company), took part in the Huawei Enterprise Day, with the presentation ?Smart Government and Quality Public Services?. He explained how they contribute to achieving a modern and efficient Basque Public Administration through the provision of IT services.
